David has been performing primarily his own compositions for more than 40 years. The quality of his music is shaped by a history taking in a broad swath of experience. Working as a 4th hand in a paper mill or as a janitor, living rough in a remote cabin or near the heart of town, leading a software development company or joining in anti-war political actions, all have contributed to his unique take on the world. These experiences have solidified and strengthened his perspective as an ardent atheist, democratic socialist, and outspoken advocate for social justice and the environment. His songs reflect on the heartfelt motivations, trials and joys of being human.

Joe Hillebrandt has been playing in bands since the mid 1960’s. He sang and played bass in many bands, throughout the decades. His bass and vocal harmonies bring a significant depth to David’s music.

The newest addition to the band, Paul Semeraro, plays light percussion, mainly hand drums, and helps with backing vocals. Paul most recently was a member of The Dick Featherwood Trio and Tanglewood
