In 1999 Rocko Dorsey formed an original music group The Individuals. For the next decade the band toured the country supporting such acts as Reel Big Fish, The Living End, OAR, and The Legendary Shack Shakers, just to name a few. The band also appeared with the late Bob Saget on the A&E series "Strange Days with Bob Saget."The band disbanded in 2010 but Rocko continues to perform, write, and work as a session player for various projects. He is also a featured blogger for the legendary guitar company Gretsch. Rocko formed a new group Backing Forward, who’s debut performance was supporting Steven Page - Formerly of the Canadian pop band Barenaked Ladies as he toured North America promoting his album.
Most recently Rocko is featured on the SAMMYaward winning Fritz’s Polka Band’s latest album "The Hands Of Time" along with Joe Bonamassa and Deen Castronovo, of the band Journey. Rocko owns and operates an entertainment company RD Entertainment Services Inc. in the Fingerlakes region of New York. He continues to write and self release music which is available on all major platforms.
